Self-contained flat within a family house. Living room, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, shower room. The flat has its own entrance door which encloses space for your use, no space is shared with anyone else. We want you to feel very comfortable during your stay, and hope you enjoy the amenities and facilities which our flat provides. Near Bolton Wanderers stadium (for football and other events), and rail stations with access into Manchester. Manchester Airport is 30 to 40 minutes away by car.
The flat has everything you need! From fast wi-fi to a private shower room, spacious lounge, double bedroom and fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and more. There is also a washing machine exclusively for guest use within the flat, not shared with the family.
Guests have access through our side door, then up one flight of stairs and into the separate flat via it’s own door. It’s all yours to enjoy once there, no family access or sharing, a space where you can be assured of complete privacy at all times.
We like to welcome you upon arrival and to show you your space. We like you to feel completely at home from the moment you arrive. We leave an information sheet to explain the details of the flat. We want you to have privacy, but to know that we are on hand should you require anything. We ask that if anything is needed to just let us know. We provide our numbers on the information sheet should you need to contact us either in the house or elsewhere.
Our house is set on a quiet, tree lined road. As it is not a through road, there is very limited traffic.
Our house is a short 15 minute walk from Lostock Station with its fast links to Manchester.
M61 / M60 motorways are close by.
Bolton Wanderers Football Club is a 5 minute drive away, hosting football and other events.
Horwich Town Centre is a 10 minute drive.
Middlebrook Retail Centre is a five minute drive away.
Manchester Airport is 30 to 40 minutes away by car.
We have had guests staying with us for events such as concerts in Manchester, or the Ironman event, as well as concerts or football at Bolton stadium.
Off street parking available on our gated driveway. The property also has external CCTV for added security.

Home comforts
It's such a lovely, comfortable, calm apartment, a real gem, and it has all the home comforts and space that we were looking for. We needed a place for one weekend a month due to our work and family commitments, and it has worked perfectly. Barry & family are welcoming, warm and on hand if needed. We hope to return and would thoroughly recommend in the meantime.

Home from home
We had a very comfortable stay while visiting family in the area. The accommodation has absolutely everything you need including food supplies in the fridge! Barry was a great host. We’d recommend it to everyone.

Overnight stay
We had a very comfortable stay here. Barry was really welcoming and the apartment was spot on for us, plenty of space and so much better than staying in a hotel room!

Super comfortable place and very accommodating hosts
I have stayed here twice so far and will definitely be coming back! The place is always lovely and warm with a great welcome pack in the kitchen. Great bathroom, underfloor heating and new TV all come together to make this a very welcoming and relaxing space. I had to cancel at short notice recently due to personal reasons and Barry was incredibly understanding. This is exactly what you need as a regular traveller. Well done Barry and Marcia. Your place rocks!!

Fabulous place with wonderful hosts
We loved staying here. Felt very welcomed. Barry and Marcia are wonderful hosts. Accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean and having our own kitchen and living room was a real bonus.
